Jonathan Jennings School 109 is a safe, diverse, and inclusive school where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through hard work and commitment, the staff and families of JJ109 challenge our students to explore their academic potential and expand their curiosity to what is possible for themselves, their community, and beyond. To assist in reaching goals, our school family continuously promotes and demonstrates our values of being communicators, focused, growing, open-minded, and respectful.

Jonathan Jennings School 109 provides a rigorous, superior education for students by developing high-quality instruction through dedicated staff, professional development opportunities, use of data-driven instruction which targets intervention of needed skills, high expectations, social/emotional learning instruction, and recognition of student milestones. School 109 strives to accelerate academic and social growth for all students.
Students in an exploratory school have access to a college-prep, rigorous curriculum as well as a full range of enrichment program offerings that enable students to explore their interests. Our school provides students with high-quality teaching and learning experiences enriched in ELA, Math, Sciences, the arts, and an instructional model that enables the students to explore and achieve their fullest potential.
